About WRK Fuels
The people to help you run it better.
Our story
Built from the counter up.
Shoeb Ikram came up as a multi-site owner-operator. He has ordered the loads, sat through the inspections and absorbed the cost of a bad month on his own stations. Abdullah Khalidi grew up in his family’s stations, started writing code at seven, and leads the technology side of the firm.
Together they saw the same pattern again and again: good operators running on paper, systems that do not talk to each other, and numbers that arrive too late to act on. WRK Fuels was founded to close that gap with two things independents rarely get together: the technology to understand the business, and people who know how one actually runs.
How we have evolved
In our early days, WRK Fuels also offered hands-on station operations, including staffing and recruitment. We have since focused the company on four services where we can do the most for owners:
Some earlier press coverage describes our previous model. Our press page notes this alongside each article.
How we work
Four things we will not compromise on.
We are not an operator.
You keep your staff, your keys and every decision. We take on agreed work and report back.
Plain English, always.
Reports and advice written for the person who owns the store, not for an accountant.
Scope in writing first.
Responsibilities and price are agreed before anything starts. No surprises on the invoice.
The truth, early.
If the numbers say something is wrong, including a decision you made, you hear it plainly.

Shoeb Ikram
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Los Angeles, CA
Shoeb owns and operates stations himself. That is the whole basis of how he advises. He has ordered the loads, sat through the inspections, and absorbed the cost of a bad month on his own sites before ever doing it on anyone else's.
Abdullah Khalidi
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Los Angeles, CA
Abdullah grew up in the gas station business. He was four years old the first time he was behind the counter, started writing code at seven, and has been working with AI since 2020.
