Abdullah grew up in the gas station business. He was four years old the first time he was behind the counter, and he never really left. He started writing code at seven and has been working with AI since 2020. The two things have been converging ever since.

Why it matters

Most stations are running on systems nobody chose on purpose: a POS from one decade, a back office from another, and a stack of paper in between. That's how margin goes missing quietly. Abdullah's job is to make a site legible: what sold, what it cost, what's shrinking, and what the tanks are doing, all in one place and current enough to act on. The technology isn't the point. Knowing what's happening on your lot is.

Background

Abdullah was four when he started spending time in the family's stations, and seven when he started coding. He spent the years after that doing both: the counter and the keyboard, and has been working with AI since 2020, well before most of the industry started paying attention to it. He brought that to WRK Fuels, where he shares direction of the firm with Shoeb and owns everything technical.
